Business Coaching is our passion and working with people to realise their full potential, our mission. Through the use of transformational and self-mastery-based coaching, we aim to empower people to envision, motivate, influence and lead.
We believe that while technical skills are essential, they alone are not enough. As the business landscape becomes more complex and diverse, increasing levels of Emotional and Social Intelligence (ESI) through self-mastery become more important. Our methods of coaching help develop these skills in people so that they are able to better deliver on the job. Our coaching solutions focus on developing leadership skills at all levels, with our primary focus being Transformational Leadership, a style of leadership that focuses on inspiration, motivation and empathy to augment transaction so as to bring out the best in your team.
Mentoring provides specific advice and guidance relevant to an employee’s individual skills and work experience.
Our mentoring solutions therefore rely on matching your mentees with mentors from our network who have the required technical background to meet the needs of the mentee.
Your mentee will benefit from our mentor’s personal and practical experience, their support as a trusted adviser and sounding board, as well as gaining access to a network of like-minded people.
Our mentors subscribe to our philosophy that mentoring is not done in isolation, but that it forms part of an integrated solution that can involve elements of coaching and training as well.
These practitioners will work with an employee or team to train them in a specific skill or area they need help in. However, at Pinpoint Innovation, we believe that the development of people is not limited to the acquisition of technical skills, which is why we incorporate components of self or team development in all our training solutions. Skills training that uses elements of mentoring and coaching creates self-motivated employees and builds the leadership competencies of your team.
Our work has taught us that hands-on, real-life experiential learning is more valuable to an employee than any other method of training.
That is why we offer Shadow Assignments, that allow you to hand over an assignment or project to a junior employee whom you are developing, while remaining safe in the knowledge that we will be there to shadow him or her through the process.
We do this by guiding them on-the-job, assuring the quality of the work and that your deliverable requirements are met while providing value experience gain for the employee
